BREATHING LIFE INTO STONE

Medium Works

A growing collection

Picture
My medium sculptures are all designed to be outside. Water runs off of every surface to help in keeping them clean. I spray them with my power washer twice a year. They weigh between 500 and 1000 plus pounds. These sculptures require months of time to produce. They represent a real commitment both on my part and that of the buyer. I would want to be involved in their transport and installation.

All of these pieces are looking for a home. You are welcome to visit the studio the next time you come to the northern California coast. Most are made of statuary marble though I do have pieces carved in limestone and have branched into wood in recent years.

Each of these pieces is unique and carved directly into the stone without the use of models. Because of this there will never be another work of mine that exactly replicates the form of each of these.
