"Bringing marble to life"

John Fisher has been bringing life-like figures out of marble for over forty years, one unique piece at a time. John and his wife and fellow artist, Sandy Oppenheimer, spent over twenty years living and working in the village of Pietrasanta, Italy, where the finest statuary marble is still mined from centuries old quarries founded by Michaelangelo. Every piece is a unique, carved directly into the stone without the use of models using century-old techniques alongside modern methods and tools.
Small SculpturesClients often begin collecting John’s work by purchasing a small sculpture for their home. They are easily shipped and look beautiful in any room of the house. They range from 10 - 35 pounds and have protective felt on the bottom so as to not scratch your furniture.

Medium SculpturesThe above picture, "The Brothers" is one that John would consider part of his medium sized family of works. These are ideal for backyards and gardens and can be integrated into any landscape design.
